Stephen D. Halliday – President and CEO
Steve is President and CEO of AmeriVision Communications, Inc. d/b/a Affinity4, a company that
has raised funds totaling over $76 million to date for Christian ministries and nonprofit
organizations; and also a partner in Ashcroft, Sekulow & Gregory, LLC, a consulting firm for
nonprofit organizations. Previously he has served as a partner with Wiley, Rein &
Fielding, a Washington, DC, law firm specializing in broadcasting and telecommunications; and a
managing partner with Coopers & Lybrand, an international accounting and consulting firm.
His specialties include media and telecommunications, structuring acquisitions and advising
nonprofit organizations. Media clients have included National Geographic Television, PGA Tour
and CBN/Family Channel.
Further accomplishments include appointment by the Governor of Virginia to the Virginia
Research and Technology Advisory Commission, and having taught at the College of William and Mary
School of Law. Steve received his B.A. from Duke University, his J.D. from the College of
William and Mary and his M.L.T. from Georgetown University Law School. Steve also serves as a
CPA.
Joseph R. Gregory – Chairman
Joseph R. ("Joe") Gregory co-founded King Pharmaceuticals in 1994, in Bristol, Tennessee. King Pharmaceuticals is a Fortune 500 pharmaceutical company that grew from a 100 employee startup at founding to over 2,200 employees and $1.6 billion in sales upon his retirement in 2002. Today, he leads the investment management firm of Gregory Management Company, LLC.
He also is the President and CEO of Epic Secure Solutions, a leading software technology provider battling pornography on the Internet. Additionally, Joe co-chairs the Gregory School of Pharmacy Advisory Committee at Palm Beach Atlantic University, serves on the Board of Trustees for Regent University and is a an Executive Committee member of the Council for National Policy. He is chairman of the Ring of Freedom National Advisory Council of the NRA. He and his wife, Cindy, run a private charitable foundation called The Master's Table focusing on Children's Ministries.
Bishop T.D. Jakes
Bishop Jakes founded The Potter’s House Church in Dallas, TX, in 1996 with 50 families from his
original parish in West Virginia. Christianity Today calls the multi-racial assembly of more than
30,000 members with over 50 outreach ministries “one of America’s fastest growing mega-churches.” TIME magazine christened Bishop Jakes “America’s Best Preacher” in
2001 and included him among the "25 Most Influential Evangelicals" in America (2005). An
author of more than 30 books, he has made the New York Times Best-Seller List numerous times.
His successful national conferences “ManPower” and “Woman, Thou Art Loosed” united with “Mega Youth
Experience”, a youth outreach, to become “MegaFest”, an annual family fun and fellowship and fun
event.
Founder of TDJ Enterprises, the Bishop has partnered with Sony, EMI, Time Warner, Rueben
Cannon Productions, Clear Channel and other corporations to produce award-winning theatre and film,
and has released Grammy-nominated music from his label Dexterity Sounds. Bishop Jakes also
hosts The Potter’s Touch, a daily talk show, and produces The Potter’s House television ministry
aired on TBN, BET and other national and international networks. An NAACP President’s Award
recipient, he has also appeared on Oprah, Larry King Live, CNN, CBN and other networks.
Jay A. Sekulow
Jay Sekulow serves as Chief Counsel for both the American Center for Law and Justice (ACLJ) and the
European Center for Law and Justice (ECLJ). The ACLJ is a law firm and educational
organization specializing in constitutional law and the protection of religious liberties. An
accomplished and respected judicial advocate, he has presented oral argument before the U.S.
Supreme Court in numerous cases in defense of constitutional freedoms.
Jay hosts the daily national call-in radio program, Jay Sekulow Live!, on over 600 stations
and the weekly television program, ACLJ This Week, on Trinity Broadcasting Network, FamilyNet and
other national networks. He has appeared on numerous network television programs and frequently
contributes articles and commentaries to national publications. TIME Magazine named Jay one
of the "25 Most Influential Evangelicals" in America and called the ACLJ "a powerful counterweight"
to the ACLU (2005). The National Law Journal twice named Sekulow one of the "100 Most
Influential Lawyers" in the U.S. (1994, 1997), and he is also among a distinguished group of
attorneys known as "The Public Sector 45" by The American Lawyer (1997) for their "vision and
commitment" that change lives.
A cum laude graduate, Jay Sekulow received both a B.A. and J.D. from Mercer University and a Ph.D. in
American Legal History from Regent University.
Michael McKinney
Michael S. McKinney is the general counsel of Gregory Management Co., LLC, a private investment management company. He also serves on the board of directors of Epic Secure Solutions, a leading software technology provider battling pornography on the Internet. Prior to joining Gregory Management Co., Mr. McKinney practiced law with the law firm of Baker, Donelson, Bearman, Caldwell & Berkowitz, P.C. in Johnson City, Tennessee, where he concentrated his practice in the areas of corporate, securities and mergers and acquisitions law. Mr. McKinney has served as lead counsel on numerous large acquisition and divesture transactions in a variety of industries and was named to the Business Journal's "40 Under Forty" in 2005.He graduated summa cum laude from the University of Tennessee College of Law with a concentration in business transactions and has a B.S. in Business Administration from the University of Tennessee. Mr. McKinney was named the Most Outstanding Graduate of his law school's graduating class. Prior to law school, Mr. McKinney worked in the securities industry as a stockbroker. He also has experience as a consumer/commercial lender. He is a member of the Association of Corporate Counsel, the American and Tennessee Bar Associations and the Gideons International.
